Larios Street usually features a themed light structure that changes each year, accompanied by musical shows with Christmas carols and modern songs. The official lighting ceremony takes place in late November, marking the start of a festive season full of cultural activities, markets, and holiday spirit.

In addition to Larios, other areas such as Paseo del Parque, Alameda Principal, and Plaza de la Constitución also light up, creating a magical route through the historic center.

Málaga’s Christmas lighting is not only a beloved local tradition but also a major tourist attraction that positions the city as a national leader in festive illumination.

As has become customary in recent years, the inauguration will coincide with Black Friday — it will take place on Friday, November 28th.
